GCET Jammu offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech) degrees in the following disciplines:

  • Yes, GCET Jammu offers M.Tech programs in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks and a valid GATE score.

    Each B.Tech program has an intake capacity of 60 students, with an additional 5% of seats reserved under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme.

    Admissions are based on the Common Entrance Test (JKCET) conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE). Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, securing at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST categories).

    Yes, diploma holders can apply for lateral entry into the third semester of B.Tech programs. Candidates must have a relevant diploma and meet other eligibility criteria as specified by the college.

    Yes, GCET Jammu provides hostel facilities. The boys' hostel has a capacity of 200 students, and a girls' hostel is under construction.
